Time for an Upgrade

When a vehicle comes to the market and becomes one of the models we admire and desire to drive, at some point during the generational period upgrades are needed. Although nearly every single model experiences upgrades along the way with new technology added and a tweak to the engine that comes with continued development. Much of the time, the body doesn’t change much at all unless the entire lineup experiences a change in style and appearance and the model in question is expected to continue to last several years longer before a new generation makes its way to the dealership around the world.

One model that was due for a new look is the Audi TT. Although the new TT RS is a model that has just recently made its way to the sales floor, the standard model of the TT is one that has been due for a new look to let us have a car that keeps pace with many of the other models in the Audi lineup. Recently, that’s exactly what we’ve seen driving with a new and refreshed look to give us a tucked in appearance up front to make this car appear to be sportier than before.

What We Can Surmise

As we look at what the new Audi TT brings with its looks, the grill appears to have grown to be a bit larger while the air intakes have enjoyed a new profile. If you recognized the LED pattern that was part of the headlights in the past, you’re going to have a hard time now because the pattern has been redrawn and no longer looks the same as it did before. The new side sills are more prominent than in the past and the rear offers a look that doesn’t appear to have been changed except for the new design of the LED pattern.

This car that’s been spied could easily be the development mule for the new TT RS and it could be one that will offer you the look and the drive you’re ready to enjoy. This car has everything except the oval tailpipes that are something we see many times when we see the TT on the road. There’s not been any confirmation this mule is going to have aspects used for the TT RS, but that seems to be the logical move for Audi.

It’s time for the small and active roadster we love of the Audi TT to be upgraded and the look we see in this new testing mule gives us the look and feel that will be more exciting and a bit more planted than in the past. There hasn’t been any news shared as to whether or not the new car will have an upgrade to the five-cylinder 400 horsepower engine for the drive or not, but this car certainly is one that will continue to allow us to have the fun we’ve been looking for when it’s time to have the drive desired.
