The Nissan Armada. It’s always been big and had plenty of power to move its passengers and extra gear around, but the redesigned 2025 model is better than any Armada driver has seen, and not by just a little bit. This redesigned model is giving domestic full-size SUVs a run for their money.

Let’s Start with the Engine

The 2025 Armada gets power from a turbo V-6 engine. The V-8 is gone, and you won’t miss it with this V-6 under the hood. It works with a nine-speed automatic transmission and comes with rear-wheel drive if you don’t opt for the available four-wheel drive system from your Nissan dealer.
The V-6 is powerful and has lots of torque. The new adaptive suspension for the new PRO-4X trim and Platinum Reserve adds to the smooth ride and helps prevent body roll when you take tight turns or need to press hard on the brakes.

The New PRO-4X Trim is Ready for Adventure When You Are

When you want to pile your friends in your massive SUV for an off-road trip, the PRO-4X is what you’ll want. It has all-terrain tires, a front bumper designed to increase your approach angle when traversing rough terrain, and an electronic locking rear differential.
If that’s not enough, don’t worry, it also has underbody skid plates, recovery hooks, and hill descent control.

Big Screen Infotainment

The technology in the Armada is designed to make staying informed, entertained, and in touch easy. The base model has a massive 12.3-inch touchscreen, but this is the smaller screen. A 14.3-inch touchscreen comes in the Platinum trim, and it’s met by another 14.3-inch digital driver display.
As expected in a modern vehicle, you’ll have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to sync your phone, Amazon Alexa for your voice assistant, and navigation is available for when you need directions. When it’s time to turn up the volume, the available 12-speaker Klipsch stereo system will do the trick,

This SUV Can Do Some of the Driving

The PRO-4X has Nissan ProPilot Assist 1.1, which has an upgraded version of adaptive cruise control with steering assist. The higher trims now come with ProPilot Assist 2.1, which is a hands-free driving system. It can take over the acceleration, steering, and braking on compatible highways. It will detect when you’re coming up on a slower vehicle and suggest a lane change. The driver just needs to push a button to initiate the lane change.

Traffic jam assist is also part of the latest ProPilot Assist. It will help you navigate the Armada through traffic jams, without having to put your hands on the wheel.

More Cabin Space Than Ever

It didn’t seem possible, but there’s even more space available in the latest Armada. An extra 5.7 inches of legroom will make your third-row passengers happy, and there’s even some extra legroom in the first row, too.
Take your ride to the next level in the Platinum Reserve with its massaging front seats, ventilated front seats, and quilted leather upholstery.
