The Jeep name brings the most passionate followers to the events around the country and is the brand that more car clubs are made of than any other. The saying you see on the back of many Wranglers is “it’s a Jeep thing, you wouldn’t understand,” which tells you all you need to know about this brand and what it offers. One of the most significant events in the country has everything to do with this brand and what it offers.
The Event and What it Offers
Since 2003, the Jeep Beach Festival has been held at Daytona Beach, Florida. The 2022 version of this festival is the biggest one yet, which seems to be a theme for events held this year. The event gives us some of the most exciting SUVs from this brand with enthusiasts that show off their customized and upgraded vehicles that are amazing to see and admire. This event attracts enthusiasts from all over the country.
Many Jeeps swarm the Daytona International Speedway to fill the infield and have a lot of fun. The staff for this event is volunteers that are Jeep enthusiasts as well. This festival takes an entire week, and those in attendance can stay for the whole thing or come for a day or two if they want to. Some charity events include a 5K run, scavenger hunt, food trucks of all kinds, photo ops, charity softball games, silent auctions, off-road trails, sound and light competitions, and tailgate parties. This is one enormous week-long party in Daytona.

The Numbers and Varieties of Wranglers are Amazing
You might think it boring to have an event where only one model shows up en masse, but that’s not the case. The variety of Wrangler models at this event is incredible. In addition to the Wranglers, now that the Gladiator is on the market, this truck is part of the event as well. Some models come to form the World War II era wearing the Willys name others are part of the YJ generation, and a few appear to come out of the Jurassic Park movie. This event plays hose to a six-wheeled Gladiator and various Wranglers with some of the enormous tires you’ve ever seen on an off-road vehicle.
Many of the Jeeps in attendance have been upgraded in one form or fashion. The Jeep Beach Festival is where you can see every variation of customization you can find. If You Bring a Jeep, You’ve Got to Take on the Obstacle Course.
One of the most entertaining events at the event is the obstacle course. This event offers four lanes of difficulty, which means you can handle it even if you’ve never had any experience with off-road driving. The lanes range from beginner to expert for fun you want to enjoy. Take a stock model of the Wrangler or Gladiator through the more accessible parts of the course or bring your Rubicon model and take on the expert section of this challenging event.
You don’t want to be one of the people that doesn’t finish the course, which means you need to pick the right lane for your fun. Those that don’t complete the course get pulled out of the obstacle course and are required to hold up a sign reading, “My momma’s Jeep is cooler than yours.” Of course, if you don’t want to push your Jeep hard on this course, the brand set up a separate obstacle track for you to ride along and enjoy the experience.
A Special Giveaway at this Year’s Jeep Beach Festival
Even though this festival has been held for the past 20 years, the latest event featured something new. At this latest event, a brand new Jeep was given away by the organizers. This giveaway was a new particular edition model called the Wrangler High Tide. This is a unique model with only a few models made. The first 500 have exceptional Beach graphics on the hood to give you a unique look that will likely be the only one you find in your hometown.
The High Tide model is based on the Sport S trim, but it gives you the benefits of the Xtreme Recon Package. This package provides you with 35-inch BF Goodrich tires, a 1.5-inch lift, and some additional off-road items. The winner received a unique model that gives them a new Jeep that can give them years of fun off-road driving when that winner heads out on the trails for some fun.
The Jeep Beach Festival will be the location of another giveaway next year. Will it be another unique model of the Wrangler? We won’t know until next year when this event will take place.
