The Hyundai Tucson Brings More for 2022

We have to wait until next year, but the Hyundai Tucson that will arrive for the 2022 model year is one that will give us several options.

This all-new version will be offered with a gasoline engine, a hybrid powertrain, and a plug-in hybrid variant. We’ve also been told there will be a Tucson N following this new model to give us a sporty version that can offer more power, but that model might not arrive until later in2022.

Looking at the New Tucson in South Korea

The wraps are off and the 2022 model that will mostly be what we see in the US is already being shown in South Korea. This new Tucson is much different from what we have right now, but still, a compact SUV that we can quickly fall in love with and enjoy driving when we get behind the wheel.

Hyundai has added the “Sensuous Sportiness” design to the build of the new Tucson to give you the look you want. We first saw this design in the new 2021 Sonata but now it will be translated into SUV models to give us the style we can admire. The new Tucson will be offered in a size that’s six inches longer than the current model while also being taller and offering a wheelbase that’s longer than before.

Segment Leading Items in the Hyundai Tucson

We’ve often seen Hyundai offer us items that lead the way for different classes of vehicles. This SUV will offer the Remote Smart Park Assist which allows you to park in some tight spots and have the vehicle move in and out of the spot with the use of a remote while you’re standing outside of the vehicle.

This new version of the Hyundai Tucson will also bring you remote engine starting, control of the ventilated and heated seats, and the new Digital Key app. These items will be operated by using the BlueLink app offered by Hyundai. We will also see wireless smartphone connectivity to have the music you love and the connection of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto without the need to bring wires with you. Some models will have wireless charging, which means you can truly leave those cords at home.

Adding the N Line Model to the Mix

The N Line version of the Hyundai Tucson has been teased and it seems this theme will be carried throughout the entire Hyundai lineup going forward. With the Veloster N, Elantra N, and Sonata N already in the mix, the Tucson N Line seems like the logical next step. This means we will see a Tucson that’s cosmetically sportier than the standard model and may even find one that has a more powerful engine under the hood.

Get ready for a new version of the Hyundai Tucson to arrive at dealerships this summer. The 2022 model is on the way and it brings a new look, new features, and upgraded performance items for you to have the drive you want in a fantastic compact SUV.
