The return o the Hummer is upon us, but this new model arrives with lots of changes when compared to the final version we saw before.
The last Hummer on the market was the H3 which was much smaller than the original. This new Hummer is an EV truck that has three electric motors and a quiet ride. The previous Hummer was its own brand, this new one will wear the GMC badge, and the last model was an SUV while the new Hummer is a truck.

This new truck is going to offer 1000 horsepower and, because it’s an EV, it will have the acceleration to rocket this big truck to sixty mph in only three seconds. Three is a good number for this EV as that’s the number of electric motors giving this truck its power.
Excellent Range for this New Truck
The power for the new Hummer comes from a double-stacked battery pack which allows the truck to have up to 350 miles of driving range on a full charge. It also has a 350 kW charging capacity to give you 100 miles of range in only ten minutes of charging when you connect to the right charger.
Walk the Hummer Like a Crab
Have you ever noticed how crabs walk sideways on the sand? The new GMC Hummer EV is equipped with a mode called Crab Walk. This feature turns the front and rear wheels in the same direction to allow the truck to drive at an angle rather than simply turning the front wheels while pulling the rest of the truck along with it. This could be extremely useful when you’re out on the trails.
Excellent Off-Road Driving Offered
When you need to drive through the rough stuff of the off-road areas you’ll explore, the Hummer can get the job done. This truck has an air suspension that can give you the added ground clearance and make it easy for you to ford through the water. There are steel plates under the body to protect the battery pack in case you find water that’s higher than the clearance offers.

You’ll see a 12.3-inch screen that makes up the instrument cluster and a 13.4-inch infotainment screen to give you the connectivity you’re looking for.
