Heading to New Markets

Heading to a New Market

It’s not often that vehicles that are built for the North American market are taken to other markets and sell well. The relaxed regulations in other areas of the world typically allow for more dynamic vehicles to be built and sold in other parts of the world. Even the domestic brands that we know and admire as much as we do tend to have a relaxed build that offers more for the drive, especially if a diesel engine is being used. Now, one of the vehicles that has been offered almost exclusively in our market is about to head to several other areas of the world.
Nissan has recently upgraded the full-size Titan pickup truck to be a model that offers us a new build and a variety of modern qualities that we love for the drive. This truck is about to be a global performer as Nissan works to introduce the Titan in a variety of other markets to begin to allow these markets to enjoy what a truck can offer that’s built at this size. While the thought has been these trucks only sell well in North America, Nissan hopes to prove that to be a fallacy.

Where is the Titan heading?

Even though the Nissan Titan is a Japanese branded vehicle, it’s made in America for the North American market, but Nissan is ready to take this truck around the world. The goal is to take the Titan to China, Australia, the Middle East, and Russia to open up some of the largest markets in the world that also have large enough roads to make a big truck a possibility and an important way for those that need a great truck to get things done. This could be an important and impressive way to have a truck that gets things done.

The idea is to make the Titan part of the commercial lineup from Renault-Nissan Alliance LCV which is made to offer commercial vehicles around the world. By adding this truck to the LCV market this could be a fleet vehicle that makes a huge difference to those companies that need several models for the work that has to get done on a daily basis. Starting with the commercial market could be the smartest way for the Titan to be offered before it’s offered publicly for those who want to have this truck for themselves.

By adding this truck to these additional markets, Nissan will be able to expand its lineup and show us a truck that’s capable of handling everything it can around the world. In the US the Titan sales have grown 244 percent in the past year and it’s expected that this could be one of the most successful commercial vehicles offered by Nissan for the future of the brand and the LCV models offered. Will other trucks follow the Titan to other markets to offer a variety of full-size models? I’m sure they will once the Titan shows it can be successful around the world.

Want something a little bit smaller? Opt for the Nissan Pathfinder. This SUV is still large enough to carry luggage and friends, but is more family-oriented.
