This is an exciting year for the automotive industry. Companies like Mazda are adding to their typical yearly updates with some impressive new models.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Mazda is continuing its trend of delivering stylish, luxurious, and capable vehicles. We should also see this brand\u2019s first electric vehicle as well.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a big year for Mazda vehicles. Here\u2019s what you can expect:<\/p>\n

Say Goodbye To A Few Favorites<\/h3>\n

Auto brands have to continually make decisions about which vehicles will stay in production and when to move on to something else. It\u2019s not that there is anything wrong with the cars being discontinued, but manufacturers can often only focus in so many directions.<\/p>\n

The CX-3 is a great example of an SUV that won over many hearts. While it was popular, it was never as big of a hit as other Mazda vehicles. It didn\u2019t have a long run, but it certainly made its mark.<\/p>\n

Updates Galore<\/h3>\n

Many of our favorite Mazda models are getting some impressive updates this year. This could be the addition of new trims, drive trains, or updated technology.<\/p>\n

CX-30<\/h4>\n

The CX-30 will now only come as an all-wheel-drive SUV<\/strong><\/a>. Shoppers will also be able to get their rides in a new Platinum Quartz Metallic paint color. One of the more exciting features of the new CX-30 is the Carbon Edition. This trim comes in an exclusive Polymetal Gray paint color with red leather seats. It also sports 18-inch wheels, black heated side mirrors, and tons of other incredible features.<\/p>\n

CX-5<\/h4>\n

The CX-5\u00a0is six years into its second generation. The first thing you\u2019ll notice is that this compact SUV has new trim names. The Sport is now called the 2.5S, and the Touring is now the Select. The Carbon Edition is still an option, but the Carbon Edition Turbo has been replaced by a new Premium trim. The Grand Touring is now the Premium Plus, and the Grand Touring Reserve is called the 2.5 Turbo.<\/p>\n

CX-9<\/h4>\n

There aren\u2019t a ton of updates to the CX-9, but it does now come with all-wheel-drive as the standard drivetrain. There is a new Touring Plus trim-level in between the Touring and Carbon Edition models. The new trim comes with ventilated front seats, 20-inch wheels, a gloss-black front grille, and a frameless rearview mirror.<\/p>\n

Brand New Models<\/h3>\n

Mazda is adding some pretty impressive options to its lineup, including its first-ever electric vehicle<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

MX-30 EV<\/h4>\n

Mazda is finally releasing an EV. The front-wheel-drove EV SUV will only be available in California for the U.S. market in its first year. In fact, there will only be 560 units produced, but production is expected to increase. The MX-30 EV will be similar to the Mazda 3 and CX-30 but with more sustainable materials throughout.<\/p>\n

MX-50<\/h4>\n

The MX-50 SUV will hit the market in the 2023 year. This vehicle comes in ten different trims, which cover a variety of uses and personalities. Drivers can choose between two engines, including a turbocharged 2.5-liter powertrain. You\u2019ll also see things like a massive 8.8-inch infotainment center and a Wi-Fi hotspot.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s Coming in the Future?<\/h3>\n

Mazda plans on adding new SUVs to the market in the coming years, including the CX-70 and CX-90. These large crossovers will be equipped with turbo inline-six engines and all-wheel-drive. There aren\u2019t many details on these yet, but they are expected to hit the market for the 2023 model year.<\/p>\n
