The return o the Hummer is upon us, but this new model arrives with lots of changes when compared to the final version we saw before. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

This new truck is going to offer 1000 horsepower and, because it\u2019s an EV, it will have the acceleration to rocket this big truck to sixty mph in only three seconds. Three is a good number for this EV as that\u2019s the number of electric motors giving this truck its power.<\/p>\n

Excellent Range for this New Truck<\/h2>\n

The power for the new Hummer comes from a double-stacked battery pack which allows the truck to have up to 350 miles of driving range on a full charge. It also has a 350 kW charging capacity to give you 100 miles of range in only ten minutes of charging when you connect to the right charger.<\/p>\n

Walk the Hummer Like a Crab<\/h2>\n

Have you ever noticed how crabs walk sideways on the sand? The new GMC Hummer EV is equipped with a mode called Crab Walk. This feature turns the front and rear wheels in the same direction to allow the truck to drive at an angle rather than simply turning the front wheels while pulling the rest of the truck<\/strong><\/a> along with it. This could be extremely useful when you\u2019re out on the trails.<\/p>\n

The cabin of this new Hummer is dominated by simplistic and utilitarian straight lines with modern qualities to them. You\u2019ll see a 12.3-inch screen that makes up the instrument cluster and a 13.4-inch infotainment screen to give you the connectivity you\u2019re looking for. Will you find yourself behind the new GMC Hummer EV in the near future? This truck should be available starting in the fall of 2021 for those who put their deposit down when the pre-orders opened.
