This new tech will allow you to have the ability to control the car with your mind, but is it what we really want to experience?

A System to Read Your Movements from Nissan

When you think about controlling the movements and adjustments of your car with your mind, visions of cartoons with crazy devices attached to the head of your favorite character, which seemed funny at the time, but could become a reality.

It’s no secret that your muscles and your body can’t react as quickly as your brand and signals need to be sent from your brain to these areas to make changes. With this B2V technology, Nissan is trying to cut out the middle part, which is your body.

Nissan B2V Still in its Infancy

Currently, there is probably no hope for this system to become a reality because it requires you to wear a device on your head that will measure brainwave activity and send the information to the vehicle for analysis. With this information, the car can anticipate the intended movements and make the inputs for you much faster than you would be able to. This could improve the time of a movement by 0.2 to 0.5 seconds, which can mean the difference between a collision and avoiding one.

In a vehicle that’s equipped with B2V technology, the passenger will also wear the device and signals will be analyzed. If the passenger is uncomfortable in a way that they are feeling sick, the system can slow the car or make changes that are less abrupt than it had during the ride to that point. This system can also make changes to the climate of the vehicle to make sure passengers and drivers are all comfortable during the drive on the road.

B2V Going to a Show

We will get a closer look at the B2V technology when Nissan brings this technology to the Consumer Electronics Show later this month. The team at Nissan appears to be extremely excited by this technology and what it could mean for the future of driving on the road.

It still seems to be a bit more like science fiction that should be left in the imagination, but Nissan may be able to prove that thought wrong when they show it off and give us a closer demonstration of this technology that could connect our brains directly to our vehicles.

Nissan is working on a system they call brain-to-vehicle technology, also known as B2V, which is meant to improve reaction times.

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[2,981,67
5,1117,1119,310,1118
post-1402","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-autonomous-vehicles","category-lifestyle","category-nissan","tag-autonomous-vehicles","tag-b2v","tag-consumer-electronics-show","tag-nissan","tag-techonolgy

https://i0.wp.com/automotivefly.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Nissan-is-Getting-Into-Your-Head-with-B2V.png?fit=1000%2C523&ssl=1
["GET
