Ram is adding a new luxury version of the Ram 1500 pickup truck, and it is everything and more than you would expect. The Tungsten has more features, more luxury, and more comfort than you’ve ever seen in a Ram. When you head to a Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealer to see the Tungsten, it’s so nice that you might forget that you’re sitting behind the wheel of a truck and not a luxury car. But even with all the luxury, it’s still a capable Ram.
It’s Still a Power Horse
The big news with the 2025 Ram is the revised engine lineup. There is no longer a Hemi V-8 as part of the lineup. Instead, an all-new six-cylinder sits under the hood, delivering even more power than the Hemi. The 3.0-liter 6-cylinder with two turbochargers comes in two different power levels. The standard delivers 420 horsepower and 468 pound-feet of torque, while the second churns out 540 horsepower and 521 pound-feet of torque. The Tungsten comes standard with the high-output version of the engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Live Large in the Luxurious Tungsten
The Tungsten’s signature cabin style features an Indigo and Sea Salt color scheme. The front seats are covered in quilted leather and have cushioned headrests. These also have 24-way power adjustment, heat, ventilation, and, of course, a massaging function. The rear seats feel just as elegant and comfortable and come with heat and ventilation. If you’re ready for upscale and luxurious, find the new Ram 1500 Tungsten at a Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealer.
Technology Galore
You’ll find a 14.5-inch Uconnect infotainment touchscreen in the center of the dashboard and a 10.25-inch display for the front passenger. They can use their display to get information they want or to keep themselves entertained. The driver gets a 10-inch head-up display and a 12-inch gauge cluster. A 1,228-watt Klipsch stereo system has 23 speakers and a 12-inch subwoofer. You just can’t beat the sound quality.
If you have the Tungsten, you’ll have the ability to use your phone as a key. A new feature allows you to create a digital key that you can use to lock and unlock it, start the ignition, and more. This key can be shared with others, too. So, if someone needs to borrow your truck, you can send them a key. Don’t worry, there’s a physical key fob, too.
Look1 No Hands!
Along with a full suite of advanced safety systems, the Tungsten will come with Ram’s new Hands-Free Drive Assist system. It works on select highways across the United States.
This truck will also have a hands-on semi-autonomous driving system that uses adaptive cruise control and lane-centering to keep the truck in its lane and moving with traffic. You can use this system even in stop-and-go traffic, and it does a great job of slowing the truck to a stop behind other vehicles when they stop at an intersection and getting you going when traffic starts moving again.
