A Limited Edition Model at Launch
Similar to what we find when other exciting cars receive a new generation or complete makeover, the Nisan Z will be offered with a special limited-edition model when it launches. That model is the Proto Specversion which is named for the concept version that brought us to the production model. There will only be 240 models of this car for the US, in honor of the original 240Z that was a glorious sports car that we loved to drive.
This special model will give us 19-inch bronze-colored RAYS alloy wheels, yellow brake calipers, leather upholstery with yellow accents, suede and cloth door trim with yellow stitching, and an exclusive gear lever knob.

One reason this car could have been called the 400Z is the fact that it will make 400 horsepower that will come out of the impressive 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine. You’ll also enjoy 350 lb.-ft. of torque, and a glorious six-speed manual transmission that makes this car a lot of fun for you to drive. Of course, if you would rather have an automatic transmission, you can have a nine-speed version with paddle shifters that are optional while launch control is standard.
