It’s possibly the most expensive supercar in the world, the Bugatti Chiron, and it has been built in several different models.
This amazing car was made to honor the name of Louis Chiron, who was a grand prix driver for Bugatti in the 1920s and 1930s. He was such a successful racer that rules had to be changed, and other automakers had to build their cars better just to compete with Chiron. It seems the car is certainly a fitting tribute to a successful driver, but that’s not what we’re discussing today.
Why are There So Many Variants?
Once the Veyron was gone from production, Bugatti turned to build the Chiron, which is a fitting successor to the lauded car. Since this model arrived, the Chiron has been offered in many variations that are often created to simply celebrate a milestone or to offer a performance variant of one of the most expensive and exclusive vehicles in the world. Because each variation is made for a specific purpose, Bugatti has successfully kept the Chiron at the forefront of the automotive world, especially for its high-priced, extremely-wealthy clientele.
