The Mazda3 Will Bring in New Stuff

The Mazda3 Will Bring in New Stuff

As one of the cars we’ve loved to have for the drive, the Mazda3 is a car that gives us the efficiency we’re looking for and the fun that makes a lot of sense for the drive. When you want a car that can be a joy for you when you drive while giving you the reasonable sensibility you’re looking for, the Mazda3 makes the grade every time. This car will be all new for the 2019 model year and it will show off the new look and the new qualities at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show in November.
One of the ways the Mazda3 will show off some differences from what we’ve seen in the past is with the inspiration that’s been pulled from the Kai concept that was offered to us at the 2017 Toyota Motor Show. Mazda has followed the ideals that it doesn’t produce concepts just to have a concept for us to look at. Instead, they often make use of the concept in the next production model we see from the brand. This means the Kai concept was created to offer inspiration somewhere in the Mazda lineup and the Mazda3 makes the most sense.

The New Power for the Mazda3

We’ve known the new Mazda3 would be offered with the newest of the SkyActiv engines to give us the future feeling during the drive. This means we’re going to see a new 2.0-liter SkyActivX four-cylinder engine under the hood to make use of the Spark Controlled Compression Ignition. This new system is able to offer a lean fuel burn and offer a higher efficiency level than in other models of the Mazda3 to allow for the upgrades desired for this car when you take it out on the road.

What does this new SkyActivX engine give you when it’s time to take it out on the road? This engine is slated to reach a level of 189 horsepower and 170 lb.-ft. of torque to make sure you can have a higher power level than in the past. There will still be a cheaper and less powerful version of the SkyActiv engine offered for the Mazda3 on some of the lower trims, but this new engine is the one we’re truly interested in. We don’t have the efficiency numbers yet, but certainly will by the time this car makes its November debut.

If you’ve been a fan of the Mazda3, you’re going to be amazed by what this car brings to the market when it shows up at the show in November. The Mazda3 fits many driving needs and has always been a useful, efficient, and affordable car for you to have the drive you want and the characteristics that make a lot of sense on the road. We’re sure to talk at length about this car and the styling offered when it crosses the stage and then makes its way to the market for the 2019 model year.
