One of the most important aspects of a car is what it will offer when it arrives on the market. Many companies have brought concepts to a variety of Motor Show locations over the years only to make changes to the model when it arrives for production, which is typically based on the cost of manufacturing. We love it when a concept model and some of the features we admire on a vehicle arrive on the market in the production version, in fact, that’s one of the things we look for more than most others for the drive.
Earlier in the year, the 2018 Infiniti QX80 concept model showed up at the New York Auto Show as the QX80 Monograph Concept with a variety of impressive design elements we want to enjoy. This concept wasn’t an over the top change to this large SUV but brought us a mild refresh with design elements that made sense and could easily be viewed as what we would love to have in an SUV we drive on a daily basis. Thankfully, from what we can see, the new production version of this SUV will carry some of the features we want to have on the road.
The Upcoming Production Model
We’ve seen a teaser picture of the front end of the new Infiniti QX80 that will make its production debut in Dubai at the Dubai International Motor Show which offers us a look at the new design of the headlights that bring a modern look to the vehicle. The grill and lower bumper sections of this SUV are extremely similar to what the previous model wore, which does allow for an excellent look and feel for the front of the vehicle that we’ve loved. With this teaser, we can’t wait to see the entire vehicle up close and ready to go.
So far, the news we’ve heard from Infiniti tell is the new model of the QX80 will enjoy the same platform as before with a 5.6-liter V8 engine that was about to provide 400 horsepower for the drive. Other minor adjustments have been made to offer a more refined ride and increased comfort for you to have the quality ride you’re looking for. Once we see this new SUV on the market we’ll be able to see an updated interior with a new display screen that’s also been rumored.
We will get to see more and learn more about what the new Infiniti QX80 SUV has to offer us when it makes its debut in Dubai on November 14. This SUV is expected to arrive sometime next year as the 2018 model to make it possible for us to enjoy these new upgrades and items on the roads that we drive on a daily basis.
