The team at Infiniti offered us the IPL sub-brand and it never quite took hold in the market when we saw IPL items added to the Q50 and Q60 along with the previous models that were the G35 and G37. This didn’t stop the brand from creating something that would offer us more of what we want for the drive that can be a daily ride of fun and excitement.
By partnering with the AMS Performance team, which has become known for making the Nissan GT-R better than it already is with a variety of projects, the Infiniti team offers us something special and impressive for the drive we want to make with the power to go faster. This collaboration is offered as something you can order from the dealership and was rolled out at the SEMA show last week to let us enjoy what we can have in the Q60 that’s been tuned up to some amazing performance levels that will be excellent on the road.
The new Q60 Red Alpha Concept
The partnership between Infiniti and AMS Performance gives us the new Q60 Red Alpha Concept which has been created to give us a boost in performance to make sure this car is one we can have a lot of fun driving, especially if we take it out to the track. This car has gained 19 percent in horsepower and 29 percent in torque to reach 476 horsepower and 452 lb.-ft. of torque for the drive, you want when you see an open road that’s ready for you to scorch with the power and speed included in this car.
The upgrades to the Q60 Red Sport to create the Red Alpha Concept include Red Alpha intercoolers, intakes with dry media filters, high-flow exhaust downpipes, cat back exhaust, ECU calibration, high-capacity overflow tank, center and heat exchanger. These items all wear the Red Alpha name and make it easy for you to have the performance items you want for the drive that makes things easier for you on the roads. These items will also be offered for purchase individually if you want to have them added to your Q60 Red Sport to have added a boost in power and performance.
The ability to choose a complete package of upgrades or to select some individual items to make sure you can upgrade the performance of your car when you’re ready to get out on the roads makes an interesting experience for you at your Infiniti dealership.
